He described the initiation ritual into the Ghost Shadows. While less elaborate than those of the Mafia, the ritual involved a ceremony with symbolic blood wine, sealing his loyalty to the gang. After a domestic altercation involving his parents, Chin sought retribution with a firearm, an act that landed him in juvenile detention for three months.
