Tyra Banks appeared on the Australian morning show "Sunrise" on Monday (January 10), where she revealed that she lost her home in the deadly California wildfires.

Tyra was on the show to speak about the expansion of her ice-cream business, Smize & Dream, when she was asked about how her family and friends were holding up in Los Angeles. This is when Tyra revealed that she lost her home.

Banks stated, "I haven’t really talked about it but, yeah, I have [lost my home]. I just didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me, I feel that there's a lot of people that need that attention, so I haven't really talked about it. But I can't sit here and not tell the truth, that, yeah, we lost our house."

Tyra added that she and her boyfriend, Louis Bélanger-Martin, were at a friend's house in Australia when they got the news about their home. "We were celebrating and just having fun. I just kept checking my phone, not for my house, but just for friends and family, making sure they were evacuating and everything."

Tyra then revealed that she waited until she went home to let the reality of losing her home sink in, stating, "I just stayed in that moment, and then we went home and cried and we had our moment."
