Tay Savage opened up about the turmoil he faced following the murder of his best friend, Welch. Despite no arrests being made in Welch's case, the event profoundly affected Savage. He recalled the drastic changes in his life, stating how Welch's death was a pivotal moment for him. Shortly after, Savage found himself entangled in legal woes, as he was unexpectedly named a suspect in six attempted murder cases. Savage described the distress of being wrongly identified, due in part to mistaken identity. Despite the gravity of the charges, Savage maintained his innocence and eventually emerged unscathed, with witnesses later admitting to misidentification.
