Legendary Memphis rapper Project Pat has suffered an unimaginable loss, as TMZ reports that he lost his 21-year-old son and namesake, Patrick Houston Jr., who was shot and killed on January 17.
According to reports, Project Pat's son was shot and killed in a park in Imogene Heights last week. The incident happened around 1 pm on Friday, and when police arrived, they found Patrick Houston Jr. dead. Police have yet to provide more information on the case. Project Pat has also not released a public statement on his son's death.
This comes after news late last year of Project Pat becoming a preacher after he was seen speaking at Keiser Chapel Church in Keiser, Arkansas. Pat addressed reports of being a preacher, telling WREG, "If they want to say I’m preaching, that’s fine. I’m talking about God, so I am preaching. I’m never gonna say I’m not preaching. I am preaching."
