Peter Chin, serving a 35-year sentence, opened up about his time in prison. Awaiting trial at MCC for 18 months, Chin was involved in a high-profile case with ties to multiple murders. He opted to plead guilty to charges, including RICO and attempted murder, hoping for a lighter sentence akin to that of Nicky Louie, who received 15 years. However, the judge deemed Chin a monstrous figure in the Chinatown crime scene and sentenced him to 35 years in federal prison, more than his current age of 26. Chin found himself being one of only three Asian inmates in a racially divided environment. Despite such challenges, he claims respect is paramount in prison, allowing him to navigate his surroundings successfully. Peter Chin also talked about being locked up with other notorious figures, such as Guy Fisher and Joey Merlino.
