Cam'ron recently caught heat from actor Omar Gooding after his name came up during a conversation between Cam and 50 Cent on the "It Is What It Is" podcast.

During their sit-down, Cam'ron told 50 Cent that some veteran actors still have to wait around for work because they can't finance their own projects, naming Omar Gooding and Ving Rhames.

Cam'ron explained, "No disrespect to nobody I’m talking about,” Cam reassured those listening. “But [if you’re] Ving Rhames, you’re sitting around, or Omar Gooding Jr., y’all n****s sitting around. I would have saved my money and shot my own s*** by now. But a Black actor has to sit around for a 50 Cent or somebody in your lane to come pick them up to put them in something."

Omar Gooding then responded to Cam'ron with his diss track, "Fix Ya Mouth." He captioned his teaser to the song, "Not a fan of the word ‘Diss.’ I just respond when my name is brought up even if its pronounced ignorantly like by adding a Jr. and I live in my Hip Hop."
Cam'ron then responded to the track, writing on Gooding's Instagram page, "Lo[l] my bad bro. I don’t want no smoke."

This led to Gooding to conclude, "I dont believe for a SECOND that [Cam’ron] scared of lil ol Big O. But if he denies me the smoke then thats that. Guess I’ll take my crayons and put em back in the box since a few of yall think I’m playing."
