Fans were recently upset after Rod Wave canceled a show in Nashville moments before he was set to take the stage.
Rod had rescheduled a date on his Last Lap Tour on Tuesday (January 28), and a message was issued to fans right before he was set to perform. It read, "Unfortunately, Rod Wave is unable to perform tonight. The show is being postponed to a later date. More details to follow."
Rod then canceled the rest of his tour, shocking fans. He released a statement in a series of Instagram posts, starting with one that read, "To all my real fans thank you and I love you and I hope all the s*** we been through you finally heal."
Addressing the haters, Rod wrote, "To the rest of yall drag my name talk about me like a dog constantly speaking on me bashing me and what make me happy I dont fw you to the real fans that love me thank you this ain’t goodbye it’s simply see u later keep your head up and remember long as you got music your [sic] not alone… Till we meet again."
In another post, Rod said that he wants to travel the world, spend time with his kids, and maybe go back to school.
