After decades in the music industry and one of the most successful careers of all time, Beyoncé finally nabbed her first Album of the Year win at last night's Grammy Awards for Cowboy Carter

During her speech, Beyoncé told the crowd, "I feel very full and very honored. It’s been many, many years, and I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work. I want to dedicate this to Ms. [Linda] Martell. I hope we just keep pushing forward, opening doors. God bless y’all. Thank you so much."

She added, "I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists. I just want people to do want they are passionate about."

Straight off of the win, Beyoncé caught up with ET's Kevin Frazier, and she spoke about how happy she was that her daughter, Blue Ivy, got to see her win.

Beyoncè went on to speak about the country community, stating, "The love I got from the country community tonight made me feel so seen. I just hope that they continue to open up the world for people to just love and respect the genre, no matter where they come from. Everybody should be invited."
