Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, was arrested on Tuesday (February 4) morning after police noticed his blue Lamborghini Urus on the train tracks in Orlando. Now, TMZ has released footage of the incident, bringing more clarity to the situation.
The footage shows police approach Marcus' vehicle and ask him how he got on the train tracks, as he appeared to be driving alongside the tracks, not over them, as one usually would. Marcus repeatedly asked the officers to assist him in getting his SUV off of the tracks, but as they spoke to him, the more apparent it was that he was intoxicated.
At one point, one of the officers told Marcus that he didn't want him behind the wheel, and when Marcus asked why, the officer stated, "Because I can smell alcohol coming from you, and you're on the train tracks."
Marcus also name dropped his famous dad during the arrest, as he told an officer patting him down, "I'm Marcus Jordan. I'm Michael Jordan's son. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. OK?"
Officers administered a field sobriety test on Marcus, and they told him that he had too much to drink. After placing Marcus in cuffs, they searched him and found a baggie with a white powder inside. The substance later tested positive for cocaine.
Marcus was charged with DUI crash with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer without violence. He was released later on Tuesday.
