Over the weekend, rapper Kodak Black was trending after a video surfaced of him sitting in the middle of a road eating a box of chicken. The video led to fans expressing their concern for Kodak, who has been open about his Percocet addiction in the past.
The recent video led to Kanye West also speaking out and revealing that he was flying out to speak to Kodak out of concern. In a video posted to X, Kanye stated, "Something is saying to go and get my brother... Maybe I could be the person that can make a difference and that's what I'm gonna do right now."
This comes after Kodak sparked concern during his live stream with Kai Cenat. Kodak seemed under the influence in the video, and after reading comments online, he stated, "I take one perc and y’all be so f***ing butthurt. Y’all don’t like a n**** anyway."
Kodak then added, "I’m just Yak, bro. Ain’t s*** changed, that’s how I came in this b****. I wake up like this. If anything, give me drugs. Give me drugs, and I’ll chill. When I’m not high, when I ain’t higher than a b****, I’m vibing. When I’m high, I’m in my coma bruh, I ain’t talking to nobody ‘cuz I’m getting high."
