LiAngelo Ball stirred up controversy over the weekend after his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Nikki Mudarris, claimed that he "abandoned" their family.
In a statement posted to her Instagram, Nikki wrote, "I want to clear this up and speak my truth. I am just as surprised as you are. We spent 3 1/2 years together and last week he decided to walk out on his kids and I." She added, "We were just happy and planning family photos – I am beyond blind-sighted by this whole thing. The ultimate betrayal is not even the word. My daughter is not even 2 months old and dealing with this and postpartum is very hard. Please pray for me & my healing because I will get through this."
LiAngelo's alleged new girlfriend, Rashida Nicole, spoke out, saying, "People move on, things change. Yes, it may not be updated or addressed to the internet because it's not for y'all. People have private lives, we have real lives out here. You don't know what's going on [...] Y'all so quick to blame the woman."
After Rashida and Nikki traded some jabs, LiAngelo posted a picture of him and Rashida on his Instagram Stories. A fan also caught the pair in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, which led fans to believe that they are an official couple.
