It seems that Ye's recent outbursts on X have led to his Shopify store being shut down and his talent agent dropping him "effective immediately."
On Monday, Feb. 10, music agent Daniel McCartney of 33&West wrote on Instagram: "Effective immediately, I'm no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for."
This comes days after Ye shared several slur-ridden posts on X, and added that he was "never apologizing for my Jewish comments." On Monday (February 10), it was reported that Ye's X account was deactivated, but it hasn't been confirmed whether the social media site shut down his page, or he voluntarily shut it down. His page was previously deactivated in 2022 after he said he wanted to go "death con 3 on Jewish people."
The e-commerce platform Shopify also shut down Ye's efforts to sell hate-symbol merchandise. Ye recently had his website set up only to sell one item: a $20 white T-shirt emblazoned with a black swastika. A spokesperson for Shopify stated that Yeezy.com "did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify."
