Morray delves into his challenging past and the journey that shaped his present success. Known for chart-toppers like "Quicksand" and collaborations with J. Cole, Morray reflects on his turbulent upbringing, moving between Brooklyn and Fayetteville. Despite an unstable family environment, marked by his father's intermittent presence, Morray found solace in his grandmother's church, where he started singing at a young age, albeit reluctantly.

Life wasn't easy for Morray, who experienced homelessness and watched his single mother struggle, yet she shielded him from the harsh realities. By age 12, Morray faced a significant turning point when he was arrested for armed robbery. The singer admitted that his criminal behavior, as well as his past affiliation with the P. Stone gang, was due to being a follower and wanting to fit in.
