A verdict has been reached in rapper A$AP Rocky's assault trial on Tuesday (February 18), and a judge found him not guilty.
This comes after A$AP Rocky pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm after allegedly firing a handgun at A$AP Relli, his former friend, in 2021. Rocky's attorneys maintained that the gun fired was a prop that only fired blanks, while prosecutors argued otherwise.
Relli took the stand in the case, claiming that he and Rocky got into an altercation after meeting up in Hollywood on November 6, 2021. Relli stated that Rocky fired the gun at him during a heated moment, with a bullet grazing his hand.
The incident was partially captured on surveillance video, but investigators found no weapons or ammunition on the scene. Relli turned over shell casings he claims were recovered after the altercation.
