Ja Rule paid tribute to his close friend and music executive Irv Gotti on Tuesday (February 18), as friends and family gathered for Gotti's funeral.
Jay Z was seen sitting in the front row as Ja Rule told Gotti, "Irv, I love you, everyone in this room loves you." He went on to speak about how everyone in the room was there to celebrate Gotti's life, and Ja Rule closed out by saying, "I love you, my brother. I'll see you when I get there."
Gotti passed away on Feb. 5 at the age of 54, reportedly following a massive second stroke. He is survived by his children Angie, Sonny, and Jonathan Wilson; his brother and Murder Inc. co-founder Chris Gotti; his mother, Nee Nee Lorenzo; and sisters Tina and Angie.
