The family of Lul Pab, born Saviay’a Robinson, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Lil Durk, alleging that the rapper orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot targeting Quando Rondo, which resulted in the death of Quando’s cousin, Lul Pab.

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, the lawsuit, filed earlier this month, names Lil Durk, his business manager, his record label Only the Family, and a related company as defendants.

Warren Postman, an attorney representing Robinson’s mother, Andrea Laquila Robinson, released a statement on the case:

"The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community. We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need during this difficult time."

Lil Durk and five others were arrested in October, the same day federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment accusing them of plotting a murder-for-hire scheme against Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Bowman. Prosecutors allege the plot was retaliation for the 2020 killing of Lil Durk’s protégé, King Von, who was fatally shot during an altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew in Atlanta.

Lil Durk has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
