Rapper BigXThaPlug was arrested on Wednesday (February 26) after police pulled him over for expired tags.
According to authorities, officers approached the vehicle and asked BigX and his passenger, Cleodist Landum, to step out. Upon inspection, police reportedly spotted cigarettes and a green leafy substance in the center console, along with a handgun inside the passenger door.
Both men were taken into custody, where officers discovered that Landum had an active warrant for his arrest. BigXThaPlug was booked into Arlington City Jail on a charge of marijuana possession (less than two ounces).
At this time, it remains unclear whether BigXThaPlug has been released on bond.
