Jim Jones recently stopped by The Breakfast Club, where he was asked who he would go head-to-head with in a one-on-one Verzuz battle.
Confident in his catalog, Jim made it clear that he believes he stands above many of his fellow New York rappers. "I got more solo records than most of them that really hit, remember that. You dig? I got a lot of gold singles, I got some action with me. It's going to be hard for a lot of people from New York to win with Capo. And I got freestyles. In New York City, it's gon' be hard. I would say that for anybody."
When DJ Envy brought up the possibility of facing 50 Cent, Jim quickly shut it down. "Nah, I won't do nothing with that sucker, you heard?" he shot back. "Leave him out the conversation."
It didn’t take long for 50 to respond. The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper reposted a clip of the interview with a sharp caption aimed at Jim. "Delusional JoMo only got one song, Ballin, written by Max B. Better shut up before I have True Life chasing your a** around the city again. F***ing PUNK!"
As tensions rise, fans are left wondering if this will escalate further or if it's just another chapter in New York rap’s long history of rivalries.
