In a candid interview with Vlad TV, emerging rapper Dave Blunts, whose real name is Davion Blessing, opened up about his tumultuous upbringing, marked by significant challenges and loss. Blunts, born in Salt Lake City, spent much of his childhood in Davenport, Iowa, after his parents separated before he was born. He shared the heart-wrenching story of losing his father at the age of eight due to an unforeseen choking incident. Blunts also recounted the financial struggles his family faced, which led them to live in homeless shelters for much of his youth. Despite these hardships, Blunts and his family eventually found stability, though the journey was fraught with constant instability. Reflecting on his childhood, Blunts identified losing his father and experiencing a Christmas without presents, despite staying in a shelter offering gifts to children, as some of the toughest moments. Despite these challenges, Blunts has embraced his past, finding strength and determination in his journey towards success in the music industry.
