Toronto rapper Top5 took aim at Bryson Tiller after the R&B star commented on a viral video of T-Pain discussing the high costs of flying private.
Tiller weighed in on the discussion, writing, "I’m glad people in the comment section aren’t completely brainwashed by rappers tryna protect their rapper image."
Top5 didn’t take kindly to the remark and quickly fired back on Instagram. Reposting Tiller’s comment to his Stories, he wrote, "@brysontiller we have more money [than] u… your last hit was in 2015… don’t ever talk about my CEO like that."
He continued the rant, adding, "Imagine making all those love songs in 2015 just for two young ns to surpass you in 90 days after getting out of jail. @brysontiller, I’m gonna book your broke a to perform one of your old hits for my girl’s birthday next week. How much? 5K?"
Top5 later shared an alleged text exchange with Tiller, where he told the singer he’s “not 2Pac” and advised him to take out his nose ring.
While Tiller didn’t respond directly, his "Hold of Me" collaborator Vory stepped in to defend him. Addressing Top5, Vory wrote, "Y’all should’ve known better & I love y’all n****s, but I can’t & won’t ever tolerate no Tiller slander. That’s my real brother IRL. He stays out the way and don’t bother no one, but don’t let that R&B s*** fool you. I’ll never let any n**** publicly try to check my brotha—ever."*
The feud escalated further when Top5 brought up allegations that Vory abused his then-girlfriend in 2024. The back-and-forth ultimately led to the two artists hopping on FaceTime, where they argued.
As tensions continue to rise, it remains to be seen whether this will blow over or turn into an even bigger dispute.
