Dr. Umar Johnson found himself at the center of family drama after his daughter, Nisa, publicly claimed that he was absent from key milestones in her life.
In an Instagram video, Nisa, 22, stated, “My dad has never been to anything important—no graduation, no birthday parties. Nothing. He has not been in my life. Again, I am not making this video to bash him. I am making this video to state facts.”
She also shared that she had been searching for her half-sister but claimed that Dr. Umar had not been helpful in providing any information about her sibling.
In response, Dr. Umar took to social media to address the accusations, calling out Nisa for allegedly seeking attention. He stated, “Trying to build your streamers’ struggles off of my back? Coming up out of nowhere, acting like you been looking for me,” before adding, “Get mama smurf… I will have my White man paperwork. When can we do this sit-down?… Been paying child support since you came out the womb. Deadbeat who?”
He further challenged Nisa to have a face-to-face conversation with him and her mother, stating, “She needs to keep the same energy and bring her mother to the table. I am sure the truth will be revealed if all three of us are present together. I have absolutely nothing to hide, and I still have all of my family court paperwork in case any lies are told.”
Following the exchange, Nisa deleted her initial video and later provided an update on TikTok. She revealed that she had spoken with the mother of Dr. Umar’s other daughter, confirming her half-sister’s identity. “I just got off the phone with Dr. Umar’s other daughter’s mother. And she just told me that that’s her daughter. So yes, y’all. I’m just going to talk to her and call her when she gets out of school.”
The situation has sparked debate online, with fans weighing in on both sides. Dr. Umar has yet to respond to Nisa’s latest update.
