Boosie candidly shared a poignant childhood memory that has shaped his perspective on parenting and life. Recalling his years as a child, Boosie described witnessing his father firing a gun at someone, an incident etched in his mind. The young Boosie saw his father as both a disciplinarian and a figure struggling with substance abuse. Despite these challenges, Boosie expressed love for his father, noting that he was a “good daddy” who taught him a lot during the time he was around.

Boosie vividly recounted seeing his father go to jail for a minor public indiscretion, a memory from when Boosie was merely seven. His father’s life was marked by struggles, eventually passing away from a brain tumor when Boosie was around 14. Despite the hardships, Boosie credits his father with instilling a tough sense of discipline that he now passes on to his children. The experiences, including stern punishments for youthful transgressions, have significantly influenced Boosie’s approach to being a father himself, highlighting the challenges and complexities in these formative relationships.
