The rapper and entertainment mogul quickly took to Instagram to debunk the claims, sharing a TikTok post that read, "Breaking news, rapper 50 Cent was hospitalized and is in critical condition due to a shooting in Hollywood, Los Angeles, according to TMZ."
Laughing off the false reports, 50 captioned his post, "Don’t worry, I’m gonna make it, because this is fake news!"
The rumors surfaced amid 50 Cent’s ongoing feuds with several high-profile figures, including Big Meech and his son, Lil Meech. He has also been engaged in a public back-and-forth with Jim Jones, whom he recently trolled over the sales of his latest project, "At the Church Steps."
In a now-deleted Instagram post, 50 shared what appeared to be a screenshot of a text conversation with Cam’ron, highlighting Jim Jones’ streaming numbers. According to the post, Jim’s album has accumulated 5.4 million streams so far this year—an estimated 3,500 album-equivalent units. 50 sarcastically captioned the screenshot: "Oh no JoMo, what now?"
