Freddie Gibbs has rekindled his long-running feud with Benny The Butcher on his newly released track, "The Big 2," which dropped on Friday.
On the song, Gibbs appears to address rumors that his ex-girlfriend, Destini Creams, hooked up with Benny after giving birth to Gibbs’ child in 2023. He takes aim at both of them with the line:
"I seen my ex ho with the opps, I never get into drama /
They both got crackhead mommas, they got some s** in common."*
Gibbs doesn’t stop there, going on to take shots at Benny’s past health struggles and the 2020 shooting incident that left Benny injured, "N*** you was born an addict, p***y n** asthmatic /Don’t f** with The Rabbit, the day you die, b****, I’ma hashtag it /N**** pissed on himself when he got shot."*
Beyond the personal jabs, Gibbs also weighs in on the ongoing debate about the “Big Three” in rap, asserting his dominance, "All this talk about these threes and who’s the biggest /I got Fours and Lords cliqued up with GDs like a coalition /Never cared about no rapper status, I stayed in position /But these bars will leave some scars across your heart, boy, I’m something different."
The ongoing tension between Gibbs and Benny dates back years, with diss tracks and social media spats fueling their rivalry. With "The Big 2," Gibbs has made it clear that the beef is far from over.
