This exchange comes amid renewed attention on Bronny James, following a public dispute between his father, LeBron James, and Stephen A. Smith. LeBron recently called out Smith for his on-air criticism of Bronny, prompting a fiery response from the ESPN analyst. While Smith initially called LeBron’s reaction "weak" and dismissed it as "bulls*,"** he later acknowledged the emotional side of the situation.
"I thought it was weak, I thought it was some bulls**. But, in the moment, I knew that I was listening to a father,"* Smith admitted.
