In a viral video, the Mask Off rapper was seen with a scarf covering his head, attempting to keep a low profile. However, fans immediately recognized him and excitedly tried to get his attention.
Despite their pleas, Future stuck to his unconventional response, stating, “This is an AI.” When they pressed him further, he doubled down, replying, “This is an AI voice.”
The bizarre moment comes amid recent drama involving Kanye West, who took shots at Future in a series of social media rants. Kanye claimed that after hearing Future’s verses on Playboi Carti’s latest album, he considered him “washed.” He also alleged that Future and Metro Boomin initially asked him to feature on a remix of Like That but cut contact after he brought up Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge.
Kanye aired his frustration online, writing,
"THESE N**S CALLED ME TO GET ON THE LIKE THAT REMIX AND THEN AFTER I MENTIONED LUCIAN GRANGE THEY DIDNT PICK UP MY CALL OR PUT THE SONG ON DSPs."
As of now, Future has yet to respond to Kanye’s claims—but his recent AI stunt has certainly kept fans talking.
