Reggie Wright Jr. revealed a tense moment at the Soul Train Music Awards involving Tupac Shakur and C-Gutta, a friend of The Notorious B.I.G. Wright recounted how Tupac urged him to shoot C-Gutta, who was allegedly holding a gun during a confrontation between rival camps. Despite the tense situation, Wright, a licensed gun holder, managed to de-escalate the scenario without resorting to violence. Wright also dispelled rumors that Tupac planned to leave Death Row Records, suggesting that he had no intentions to exit the label and was instead focused on branching into movies and setting up his own record label under Death Row's umbrella.
