Adam22 was trending on Thursday, March 27, after Wack 100 claimed on a No Jumper podcast that Adam had been picked up by federal authorities in connection with Big U's recent indictment.
However, when TMZ spoke to Adam, he denied the claims, stating, "Wack has an overactive imagination, to say the least." Adam22 continued, "I was not picked up by the feds. They did, however, visit my residence, and my lawyer spoke with them. They made it clear that I’m not in any kind of trouble right now and that I’m not under investigation."
Adam went on to explain that the feds were actually interested in a different matter: "What they wanted to see, which is kind of crazy, is the cease and desist we received from Big U about a year ago. The letter requested that we remove a podcast appearance where Luce Cannon claimed that Big U had prior knowledge of Nipsey Hussle’s death before it happened, before Nipsey was actually killed."
He added, "The feds were interested in that, which is very intriguing to us. It makes us wonder, 'Why are they curious about that?' There’s nothing about it in the original indictment or criminal complaint, so it’s very suspicious. It really makes us wonder what exactly the feds are investigating when it comes to Big U. But as far as I’m concerned, no, I wasn’t locked up."
