Young Scooter's son, Kenneth Bailey Jr. took to Instagram to speak out amid news of his tragic passing, as he wrote on Instagram, "You crushed everything in me that’s all to it☹️💔😔😿Never gone heal I’ll deal wit it tho🥺."

He shared photos of himself over the years with his father, along with another message on his Stories, which read, "You got me sick asl bruh. We tight as ever I learned everything fro you. How to move round. Ain’t never hid nun from me. Told me everything and yo s*** safe wit me. Im hurt s### feel weird walkin man why you did me like dat."

This comes after Atlanta police homicide commander Lt. Andrew Smith spoke about Young Scooter's death during a press conference on Friday (March 28) night.

Smith explained that officers were called to a home after calls about shots being fired and a woman being seen being dragged inside. Two men were seen fleeing the home after officers knocked on the door, which was quickly opened and shut.

Officers say Young Scooter ran from the home until he fell, and when officers caught up to him, he had suffered an injury to his leg after jumping a fence. He was treated at the scene and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, but he did not survive.

Smith clarified, "The injury that was sustained was not via the officers on scene. It was when the male was fleeing."
