A heated moment during the second quarter of Sunday night's matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons erupted into a full-blown brawl, resulting in seven ejections.

The tension began when Pistons center Isaiah Stewart was assessed a technical foul for bumping Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo after the whistle. Moments later, Detroit rookie Ron Holland II swatted the ball out of Naz Reid’s hands, which appeared to escalate the situation further.

What followed was a chaotic scene, with players and coaches from both teams rushing in as tempers flared. Footage of the altercation shows a massive pile-up on the court, leading officials to eject seven individuals.

Detroit head coach J.B. Bickerstaff, Stewart, Holland, and guard Marcus Sasser were all tossed from the game. On the Timberwolves' side, forward Naz Reid and DiVincenzo were ejected, along with assistant coach Pablo Prigioni.

After the game, Bickerstaff addressed the scuffle, acknowledging that emotions ran high but emphasizing team unity. "Obviously, things went too far," he said. "But what you see is guys looking out for one another, trying to protect each other, having each other’s backs. ... Those are non-negotiables in our locker room."
