Kevin Hart delivered one of the most viral moments of April Fools’ Day by reviving his rap alter ego, Chocolate Droppa, for an impromptu Tiny Desk concert on NPR.

Droppa kicked things off by announcing, “I’m ready to eat,” before launching into his first song—only to pause and deliver a bold message to listeners. “Y’all not ready, man. At the end of the day, I’m dressed in all black because it’s a funeral. It ain’t mine, it’s theirs. You know who I’m talking to. At the end of the day, it’s headshots. If the target fits, wear it.”

During his high-energy 10-minute set, Chocolate Droppa performed several tracks, including ATL RAP, Love Song, West Coast, and closed with Don’t F** With Dem.*

It’s been nine years since Droppa’s What Now? mixtape, which featured collaborations with Chris Brown, Migos, Lil Yachty, Akon, and more. After the Tiny Desk performance, fans were left wanting more—and Droppa didn’t disappoint, teasing that new music is on the way.
