Drake has dropped the highly anticipated video for his latest track, “Nokia,” from his collaborative project with PartyNextDoor, Some Sexy Songs 4U.

Directed by Theo Skudra, the black-and-white video showcases Drake effortlessly grooving at the center of a crowded dance floor, surrounded by a crew of dancers. Fans were quick to draw comparisons to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video, where he similarly took center stage.

Beyond the choreography, many believe Drake subtly responded to Kendrick’s diss track. In “Not Like Us,” Kendrick famously locked eyes with a caged owl—a clear nod to Drake’s OVO brand. In return, Drake features six uncaged owls perched atop a stand at the end of “Nokia.” One owl dramatically turns to stare directly into the camera, leading fans to speculate that this was a calculated clapback.

The video’s deeper symbolism didn’t go unnoticed. A giant screen displays the classic Nokia “Snake” game, slithering around Drake—a detail some interpret as a jab at industry figures who have distanced themselves from him amid his ongoing feud with Kendrick.

Whether subtle jabs or just artistic choices, the “Nokia” video has undoubtedly fueled more debate in the ongoing rap rivalry.
