Raven-Symoné recently sat down with Jason Lee, where she was asked about her That’s So Raven co-star Orlando Brown, who has made shocking claims about her over the years.
When asked why she never responds to Brown’s comments, Raven explained her reasoning:
"I have to be really careful about what I say about Orlando because… Orlando is very smart. His tongue quips are so much faster than mine, and I know that. So, he can come off the dome quick like… like that. He’s been doing that since I’ve known him, and I’ve known him a long time. My quips come three weeks later."
She went on to acknowledge her long history with Brown, having known him throughout different phases of his life.
"I know his family, I know him, and I knew him before drugs, after drugs, during God, not during God, and he was a comedic genius. And he’s still making people laugh… at others’ expense. And I’m secure enough in my bank account and my life that I don’t have to dig that deep down to take it."
Ultimately, Raven made it clear that she has no interest in engaging with the drama, stating:
"I also don’t defend myself about anything because that’s his experience. The only way people are going to know if it’s true or not is if I corroborate. And I plead the fifth, period."
