The conversation turned toward the financial side of running a media company, with Vlad reflecting on the overhead costs of VladTV. He admitted to making a few financial missteps over the years but used the moment to critique some of the decisions made by Adam22, the creator of No Jumper. Specifically, Vlad questioned Adam’s choice to purchase the building where No Jumper operates, rather than renting, implying that such a move might have contributed to financial strain.
At around the 1-hour and 55-minute mark, the conversation pivoted to Akademiks’ recent interview with Kanye West. Vlad remarked that he would’ve challenged Ye more during the discussion, but Akademiks countered that too much pushback could have jeopardized the interview entirely. This led to a deeper conversation between the two about Kanye’s mental health and the complexity of handling such interviews.
Later in the episode, the duo addressed the serious allegations facing Diddy. Vlad expressed skepticism about the possibility of Diddy serving decades in prison, asking, “There’s always these weird things, but it’s like — me and Stevie J were talking about this in an interview recently — what exactly did he do that’s illegal to the point of actually facing 20 years?”
