Elliott Wilson recently shared a surprising voicenote from Bow Wow, responding to a tweet Wilson posted about Bow Wow’s new single with Chris Brown.
It all started when a fan sent Wilson the track, “Use Me,” and commented, “Haven’t seen you post about this yet.” Wilson replied bluntly: “And you won’t. Ha.”
Bow Wow didn’t let the remark slide. He sent Wilson a voicenote, which Wilson later played on his podcast The Bigger Picture. In it, Bow Wow expressed respect for the veteran journalist but didn’t hold back his confusion. “I wanna know what the issue is,” he asked, directly questioning whether there was any bad blood between them.
Wilson’s co-hosts were visibly shocked by the message. Wilson explained that his tweet wasn’t meant to be personal, but rather a reaction to fans constantly pressuring him to post specific content. He also admitted he’s not particularly excited about a Hitmaka-produced album—hinting that his lack of support had more to do with taste than any personal issue with Bow Wow.
