News broke last night that rapper Boosie was involved in a car accident in Georgia, leaving fans shocked and concerned. According to reports, police responded to the scene, where two passengers were seen lying on the ground in the aftermath of the crash.
Boosie’s publicist spoke with journalist Loren Lorosa, confirming that Boosie was a passenger in the vehicle and, fortunately, was not injured. Lorosa shared the update on social media, tweeting, “I just spoke to Boosie’s publicist who confirmed to me that... BOOSIE WASN’T HURT IN THE CAR ACCIDENT today that took place in Georgia. Some info on the accident: Boosie was the passenger — he only went to the hospital to be sure the driver was okay.”
Lorosa added more details, stating that Boosie was reportedly looking at his phone in the passenger seat when the crash occurred. “He looked up for a second and then the car was hit,” she explained. She also clarified that the accident happened in Georgia, not Memphis, and that the car involved did not belong to Boosie but to the driver.
Following the viral spread of footage from the accident, Kanye West weighed in with a now-deleted tweet.
He wrote, “Man can everyone let this be a lesson. Don’t have the handlers make you go against God’s favorite. For my entire life, every stupid-ass bum n***a I never barely even heard of that come out the woodworks coming at me—something bad always happen to them.”
As of now, Boosie has not publicly responded to the accident or to Kanye’s comments.
