Swamp Izzo provided insights into the reported clash between Kanye West and Playboi Carti following changes to the latter's album tracklist. Initially, Kanye West had collaborated with Playboi Carti on a song slated for Carti's new album. However, due to the fact that the project included a composition of 130 songs that needed to be reduced to only 25, the decision was made to leave the Kanye-assisted track out, according to Swamp Izzo. Swamp Izzo dismissed rumors of a personal conflict being the reason behind the exclusion of Kanye’s track. In an unexpected turn, Kanye reportedly began dissing Playboi Carti, with allegations about his past interactions involving Iggy Azalea and inappropriate remarks. Despite the tensions, Kanye later tweeted his love for Carti, further adding to the complicated narrative. Izzo, who was not involved in the studio sessions with Kanye, noted that the interaction was primarily through phone calls and FaceTime.
