Taylor Swift is reportedly taking legal action against Kanye West after the rapper posted a series of explicit and defamatory tweets about her earlier this week on X (formerly Twitter).
Before his account was shut down, Ye shared a string of crude posts, including:
"Justin Bieber and Harry Styles fed Taylor Swift from both sides and didn’t call me. I can’t hold water. ON EVEYTHIIING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE. I KNOW TAYLOR LIKE HOW THE F* HE KNOW THAT,"*
followed by, "IM MAD I HAVEN’T F**ED TAYLOR SWIFT … YET."*
According to a source speaking with the Daily Mail, Swift responded swiftly and decisively by issuing a cease and desist letter to Kanye. The insider described the posts as deeply disturbing and legally actionable.
“This time, he has gone too far,” the source said. “His claims are not just false—they are defamatory. This isn’t just Kanye gossiping. This is sexual harassment, defamation, and a clear attempt to cause emotional and professional harm.”
Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, is also reportedly outraged by West’s comments. Sources close to the couple say Kelce is “furious” and wants to confront Kanye “man to man.”
As of now, neither Swift nor Kelce have publicly commented on the situation, but legal action appears to be underway.
