Due to rising tensions and Soulja Boy’s agreement, the proposed fight grew, with financial incentives enticing both artists. Soulja Boy was offered a $2 million guarantee, while Chris Brown was set to receive $5 million, alongside lucrative sponsorship deals and pay-per-view shares. Despite the potential for substantial earnings, Wack100 acknowledged that the event posed a significant risk to Chris Brown's reputation as an R&B artist. Engaging in what essentially was a street-level dispute could have jeopardized Brown’s long-term image.
