Karlissa Saffold took to Instagram to share an emotional message she received from her son, Blueface, who is currently incarcerated. In the note, the rapper expressed regret for allowing past relationships to damage his bond with his mother.
“I want to apologize to you for letting any female influences affect our relationship,” Blueface wrote. “I thought a few females may have loved me more than you, but I was wrong. I’m glad I came to prison because in my absence, I got to sit back and watch them use my downtime as a headstart to their own advantages.”
Karlissa paired the message with a heartfelt caption, reflecting on the emotional weight of the day. “He knew today would be rough on me because we celebrated his brother’s birthday every year he was in jail. And today, they both in jail,” she wrote. “I’ll eat some cake for both of y’all because I know God got y’all. Thank you son @bluefasebabyy, this means the world to me. Today is bittersweet ❤️❤️❤️.”
She later followed up with another message, explaining why she chose to share the personal moment. “I hope he and others understand why I posted this,” she said. “So many people have been praying for this moment.”
