Rapper Lil Uzi Vert was reportedly rushed to a New York City hospital on Monday afternoon following a medical emergency, according to TMZ.

Emergency services responded to a 911 call around 2 p.m. regarding a "sick person" at a luxury apartment building in Manhattan. Eyewitnesses told TMZ that the 29-year-old artist was seen being wheeled out on a gurney and loaded into an ambulance. In an effort to shield Uzi from onlookers and paparazzi, members of his security detail reportedly held up large black umbrellas to block any attempts at photos or video.

Sources also revealed that Uzi’s longtime girlfriend, rapper JT of the City Girls, was by his side throughout the incident and accompanied him in the ambulance.

The Philadelphia native was reportedly admitted to the hospital and kept overnight for observation. As of Tuesday morning, his condition remains unclear, and no official statement has been released from Uzi's team regarding the cause of the hospitalization.

Fans quickly took to social media to express concern and send well-wishes to the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper, who has remained relatively low-key in recent weeks. Uzi, known for their genre-blending sound and eccentric style, had been gearing up for upcoming festival appearances and a possible new project, sparking speculation about whether his health scare could impact future plans.

This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
