It looks like NBA YoungBoy and Boosie Badazz have officially squashed their long-running beef. According to reports, YoungBoy recently reached out to Boosie to congratulate him on the birth of his daughter, Sevyn — a gesture that surprised many fans given their past tension.

For those unfamiliar, both rappers hail from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and their fallout in 2022 caught many by surprise. At the time, both artists exchanged diss tracks, igniting a feud that seemed to come out of nowhere.

In a 2024 interview with Cam Capone News, Boosie opened up—just a little—about where things stood between him and YoungBoy. He revealed that while the two weren’t exactly close again, they had agreed to keep each other's names out of public conversations.

“I don't really want to comment on that s***,” Boosie said. “Me and YB got an understanding on some s*** right now, you know. I ain't speaking on him, he ain't speaking on me. We ain't really talking about nothing, but... you know. I don't want to talk about him, he don't want to talk about me. We gon' keep it like that.”

Now, with YoungBoy extending an olive branch in the form of a heartfelt call, it seems the animosity has faded. Fans are already buzzing with speculation — not just about the reconciliation, but also the possibility of new music from the two Baton Rouge heavyweights.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, sources close to both camps suggest that a collaboration may be in the works. If so, this reunion could mark a major moment for Southern hip-hop in 2025.
