Newly surfaced body cam footage from Druski’s 2024 arrest shows the popular comedian struggling to fit into the backseat of a police car.
The incident took place last October when Druski was pulled over after allegedly running a stop sign. Upon checking his information, officers discovered that his license was suspended and that his vehicle had no active insurance. When officers attempted to place him in the back of the squad car, Druski — whose legs were too large to fit comfortably — struggled to get inside. In the footage, officers can be heard suggesting he lay on his back to make the ride more manageable.
Following the video's release, a spokesperson for Druski addressed the situation in a statement to TMZ:
"In October 2024, Mr. Desbordes was briefly detained and promptly released after driving with a suspended license caused by two unpaid traffic tickets — not for skipping court or a lapse in auto insurance. He swiftly paid the outstanding balance for the citations, and his license has since been fully restored."
While the footage has gone viral for its awkward humor, Druski’s team emphasized that the situation was minor and has been fully resolved.
