He began his high school journey at Dominguez High School, a renowned institution for nurturing elite athletes. However, seeking more challenging competition, he reached out to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, a legendary basketball school, where he completed his junior and senior years. As the country's top high school basketball player, Jennings regularly received compelling offers, including $250,000, a house, and two cars.
