A man who confronted DDG with insults at DreamCon now claims he plans to sue the rapper and YouTuber, along with his brother Dub, following a physical altercation caught on camera.
The incident began when the man loudly heckled DDG at the event, repeatedly calling him “Doo Doo Garbage.” Video footage shows DDG responding to the heckler, instructing someone off-camera to “check him,” prompting Dub to step in and confront the man directly.
Tensions escalated quickly. As the heckler continued his taunts, Dub appeared to physically slam him. DDG, seemingly aware of the situation’s volatility, was heard telling his cameraman not to record the altercation. However, the busy convention was full of attendees with phones out, and multiple videos of the scuffle soon circulated online.
Another video shows Kai Cenat walking up and asking Dub, “You fighting and s*** What’s going on?” Dub said, “Nah, bro, it’s all because of egos. They try to ego you.” Kai then directly asked DDG, “Why he out here fighting?” DDG denied it, stating, “We ain’t fighting. It was a skit.” Kai repeatedly replied, “Oh, oh, it was a skit. Okay. Okay.”
In a follow-up video posted by the heckler, he claimed he intends to file a lawsuit against DDG, Dub, and the cameraman involved. He did not appear visibly injured, but he insisted that he was assaulted for simply trolling.
