Sauce Walka lit up Houston over the weekend as he hosted a special night at his Splash House nightclub—and he had a very special guest in the building: Megan Thee Stallion.
The Texas rapper took to Instagram to share footage of himself and Megan hanging out during the event. In the caption, he wrote, “Mannnnnnnnnn I’m opening up @splashhouse_htx 1️⃣ tonight just for @theestallion 🥵 I need all the HOTTIES to come splash with us tonight after DreamCon‼️”
The post quickly caught the attention of another Houston legend, Slim Thug, who dropped several broken heart emojis in the comments. Slim has never been shy about his admiration for Megan and even speculated that she might be interested in him after she played his music during her Coachella set earlier this year.
However, Megan made sure to set the record straight during a second Coachella performance, where she played Slim Thug’s classic “Still Tippin.” In a playful on-stage moment, she addressed the speculation:
“And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”
Unfazed, Slim Thug responded with optimism and humor in a video, saying, “She gave me a shout-out, said my name on the Coachella stage. And then she called me ‘babe.’ Come on now, that’s a lot. That was a good shout-out. Played my songs, everything. Streams up on ‘Thug From Around the Way.’ We good. We love all that, man… Imma be patient, man. Gotta come home. Slim ain’t going nowhere.”
