Hernandez Govan opened up about the tragic murder of his daughter, “Lotta Cash Desto,” who was killed in Houston in September 2022. Contrary to circulating rumors tying her death to revenge linked to the Young Dolph case, Govan clarified the truth. He confirmed that his daughter was the victim of a botched robbery carried out by multiple assailants who targeted her for her jewelry and social media fame. Govan emphasized her close friendship with rapper Lil Uzi Vert, who supported her music career, and insisted her killing was unrelated to any ongoing legal matters involving Govan. Reflecting on his own life, Govan apologized for influencing her lifestyle choices, explaining that she wanted to emulate him, which may have led her into risky situations. She was only 24 years old at the time of her passing.
