Papoose has been laboring to release his debut album for what seems like an entire rap era. The Brooklyn rapper finally dropped "Nacirema Dream" earlier this week, but only a day after its release, Pap was already catching flack.

Erykah Badu called Papoose out on Twitter for using vocals she recorded 10 years ago on the song "Cure" without asking for her permission.

Badu's tweet reads, "This Papoose song Cure. I sang those vocals 10 years ago. That's 2 babies ago. Sheeeit. So mcs just throwing out old material- no paperwork."

Papoose responded with a tweet of his own which said, "No paperwork? False our people are dying from aids/cancer are u not happy to create awareness? u sounded REMARKABLE. #timeless."

Badu extended a sort of peace offering by retweeting one of Papoose's tweets thanking people for the positive feedback.

Nacirema Dream is in stores now.
